This episode takes you on a treasure-hunting tour of a small seaside town called Smuggler's Cove. You'll visit local businesses in town - the Treasure Chest store, the Museum, the Duck Pond Inn, the Boat Shop and the Ice Cream Store, as well as the train station, a lighthouse, an island, and more. As you solve puzzles, you learn more about the pirate history of Smuggler's Cove, and with every riddle area you solve you'll discover a torn piece of a treasure map. As you collect pieces, you can click on a wax-sealed paper icon in the top right of your screen - here you'll click and drag the ripped pieces to fit them together into a map for a treasure hunt.

This treasurehunt is part of our DIY Detective Mystery Game Collection and Spy / Secret Agent Game Collection. It is packed full of a variety of different clues and puzzles for theguests to solve. I have included 2 different sets of clues one is a bit easier than the other. You can choose which one is best for the little spies attending your party.
The best part about this treasure hunt is that IT CAN BE PLAYED ANYWHERE! I created it so that you can determine the hiding spots! I created the clues, you decide the hiding locations. How? This hunt is editable, so all you have to do is type in the hiding locations that you want and they will automatically be integrated onto the clues. Then simply print and play!
When I first put out my spy treasure hunt I had so many requests for clues that were either easier or harder. So now I have included 2 different sets of clues, one more for ages 9-14 than the other for ages 6-10. You can decide which one is best for your players.
Is this a cooperative game or can it be competitive? You can play this treasure hunt as either cooperative (all playersworking together to reach the treasure), or as a competitive game(players are divided into smaller teams or individuals and they completewith each other to be the first to the treasure). You could alsochoose to play in small teams or individuals but have a treasure foreach so that everyone wins.
Our editable invitations measure 5x7 and print two per page. The personal party details are editable, all you need is adobe reader to view and edit. This comes already installed on many computers, but if you don't have it you can download it for free at adobe.com. Once you open your file you can edit the text easily by clicking on the sample text and replacing it with your own. After you are finished personalizing your invitation simply print and cut.
